Our sustainability promise
At SNO, we know just how important it is to give back to our planet – particularly when precious hardwoods like walnut or maple are the cornerstones of our trade. We continually strive to integrate sustainability practices into each part of our production process – this includes thorough planning to limit waste material, using water-based (rather than oil-based) products, and whenever possible working with UK-based suppliers in Kent and Sussex.
Our sustainability partners
SNO have created two exciting partnerships with national charity Trees for Cities and locally with Tillingham Orchard & Vineyard in Kent. Trees for Cities is a national charity that works tirelessly assisting in the regeneration of some of the UK’s most needy inner cities – and as part of this, SNO have agreed to plant a tree for every piece of furniture we manufacture. At Tillingham Orchard & Vineyard in Rye, home to a stunning organic vineyard and with an overriding commitment to the environment, SNO have committed to the planting of an organic mixed-specie orchard so that we might see our commitment grow and bear new fruit year on year.
